Refund Policy

This policy covers enrollment in the Draw Medicine Summer Fellowship (the "Fellowship"). Fellowship access opens on June 1 each year. All dates refer to Eastern Time.

30-day refund

If you change your mind within 30 days of purchase, you'll get a full refund. No questions asked.

This does not apply to purchases made on or after May 1 (see "Purchases made on or after May 1" below).

After 30 days, through April 30

If you're past your 30-day window, you can still request a refund through April 30. You'll receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee.

May 1 – May 31

No cash refunds are available during this period. Instead, you can defer your enrollment once to the next year's cohort.

Purchases made on or after May 1

Purchases made on or after May 1 are not eligible for a refund, including the 30-day refund. You can still defer once to the next year's cohort.

After Fellowship access opens (June 1)

No refunds once access opens. If you need to defer, you can do so within 48 hours of access opening, and you'll be moved to the next year's cohort.

Installment plans

• Installment payments already made are non-refundable. Instead, the amount you've paid can be carried over as credit toward a future Draw Medicine program.
• You can cancel your remaining payments at any time. Cancelling ends your access to the Fellowship.
• If a payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. After that, your access is paused until the payment is made.

Deferrals

• Each enrollment can be deferred once.
• Deferred enrollments move to the next year's cohort and are not eligible for a cash refund.
• Deferral requests must be made in writing to team@drawmedicine.com.

Exceptions

We may approve refunds outside this policy at our discretion, for example in cases of serious hardship. Approving an exception for one person doesn't change this policy for anyone else.

How to request a refund or deferral

Email team@drawmedicine.com with:

• Your full name
• The email address you used to enroll
• Whether you're requesting a refund or a deferral

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Once processed, refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
